Old aunt Alejandra goes to live with a Mexican middle-class family; she’s bitter and the children tease her and make her life miserable, but the old woman is truly a witch, and takes revenge. When the grandmother dies, Aunt Alejandra moves to the house of her nephew Rodolfo. He is married with Lucía, and they have the teenager Malena; the boy Andrés; and the little girl Martita, and the family welcomes her home. Soon, Aunt Alejandra, who is a witch, becomes close to Martita and teaches her witchcraft. When Malena and Andrés mock her, she revenges and the children die, in the beginning of the destruction of the whole family.
